Hello again,

Due to the nature of the job that pays the mortgage, I had to stop writing in this blog until the ethics official reviewed the potential conflicts of interest and gave me their blessing to keep writing.  After months of reviews and inquiries, I received an approval letter and can write (nearly) anything I want.  My limits include: not talking about the job I do and not mentioning my employer in a manner that would further my outside interests.

I apologize for the dearth of posts, but it is important to ensure that my ethical conduct continues to be unimpeachable.  All that said, we will now return to the regularly scheduled program.
