Hello all,

I apologize for the dearth of posts lately, I had a busy summer.  There were many challenges on our farm that had to be overcome in addition to being excessively busy and short-staffed at my day job.

Although I haven’t been posting to the blog, I have still been writing.  I have several working outlines that show some promise for becoming manuscripts, and I have continued to work on my Inspector Pinkerton manuscript and a collection of short stories with a working title of ‘Do Bears Shit in the Woods?’ (a series of stories based on the lives and experiences of outdoor professionals).  I’m pretty excited about my most recent story idea, and I hope that ‘Wander, Wander’ will turn out a better manuscript than most on my hard drive.

The snows will slow things down around here, and I hope to settle into a routine of at least weekly posting on the blog again within the next week or so – after I get caught up on everything else and tie up some loose ends.
